I miss the yoga sessions

Our Yoga sessions at Mirambika have ended. I really miss them now. I am having withdrawal symptoms from something I though was an imposition and an ordeal when it began.

I loved Mandira didi's sessions. Especially the shava asan when it ended.

Go on to your side and "Deeply thank the earth for bearing your weight all your life" she would say. If my daughter is going to say this all her life at Mirambika something will go in.

Another thing she taught us. "Hold your hands together and make a wish. It will happen because all of us are collectively putting our energy together" she would say.

The wish had to be truely large. Touching many people. "If you want to be truely selfish ask for something big. I have realised this" she told us in the first class. "If I want food only for myself, it is a struggle. But if I ask for abundance it is easier".

I wished everyday. For ecological awareness for I wanted a house with trees like I have now in our new location and for my daughter all her life.

And many such wishes...
