While reading a book we have been playing a memory game based on how many things we can remember in a picture page. She has now started looking at illustrations carefully. In one page there is a little sign board that Sally, the little girl in the book hangs up. In the scene depicted moves left but the sign board has disappeared from the tree.
In another page, the girl is trying a trick on the cycle. So five positions of the cycle are shown in a centre fold. But the handle bar is a curved in the first position and looks straighter in teh next four positions. Lakshmi spotted that.
In another page, the girl is sitting and her trouser seams is torn at the fork. Her attention for detail is getting sharper.
